Why Technology?
I remember getting a Commodore computer in Jr. High school and I played this scavenger hunt type game by giving the computer coding commands to travel. It was primitive but fascinating. I always loved that (some) computer technology made you think. I started teaching in 2000 and found that technology had the power of leveling the playing field for students with disabilities. I believe in allowing the learner to take the lead in acquiring new skills and concepts. It is this ownership, that ignites their passion for education and they will become lifelong learners. Teachers, I challenge you to seek out technology and stroll into our future. I am here to help you navigate.
